For the third time, Vocal Academy competed in the chorus competition at British Association of Barbershop Singers Convention, which this year was held in Scarborough.

By rising from last year's 15th place to 9th, we became the Most Improved Chorus.

By scoring 66.8%, we also improved on our score at our very first Convention in Brighton in 2005 of 62.4% (when we were also placed 9th).
